Privacy Policy

Projects Organized is a workspace for planning home projects, run by Christian Sinatra (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. Questions: hello@projectsorganized.com.

1. Who this covers

• Account holders: people invited to use the Projects Organized app.
• Contractors and trades: people who introduce themselves through our sign-up form, send a quote through a quote link, or whose contact details an account holder saves to manage their project.

2. What we collect

• Account details: your email address, used to sign in.
• Project information you enter: projects, tasks, budgets, materials, purchases, deliveries, notes, photos and files.
• Contractor details: name, business name, phone number, email, trades, service area, license and insurance information, and anything shared in a sign-up, quote or estimate.
• Messages: emails and text messages sent and received through Projects Organized, including attached photos or documents.
• Basic technical data: the logs our hosting providers keep to run and secure the service.

3. How we use it

• To run the app: store your projects, send sign-in links, and send and receive the emails and texts you choose to send.
• To contact contractors about projects that fit their trade and area, including quote requests, scheduling and follow-ups.
• To send account holders alerts they have turned on, such as a new quote or reply.
• To read incoming replies and estimates with an AI model (Anthropic’s Claude), so the app can fill in quotes, answers and next steps. This data is processed to provide the service, not used for advertising.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Text messages

If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we send messages about projects: quote requests, scheduling, questions and follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party, except the service providers that deliver our messages.

5. Who we share it with

Only the service providers that run Projects Organized for us, and only as needed to provide it:

• Supabase: database, file storage and sign-in.
• Vercel: website hosting.
• Resend: sending and receiving email.
• Twilio: sending and receiving text messages.
• Anthropic: reading messages and estimates to fill in project details.

We may also disclose information if required by law.

6. Keeping and deleting information

We keep information while it is needed for the projects it belongs to. Account holders can delete their own records in the app. Anyone can ask us to see, correct or delete information about them by emailing hello@projectsorganized.com.

7. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections, and each account’s records are kept private to that account. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

If we change this policy, we will update the date above.
